Morgan Lauer was happy to be one of the boys during the early stages of her flag football career. The Seminole Ridge senior quarterback began playing the sport at age 5, often lining up against the boys as part of the Acreage Athletic League’s popular flag football program.

Seminole Ridge falls in state flag football championship

Seminole Ridge’s bid for a third consecutive state flag football championship, and its fourth in five years, came up just short Saturday night as Tampa-Robinson edged the Hawks 7-6 at Cox Stadium in Tallahassee.
