David Koos was 2-for-3 with an RBI, leading seventh-ranked Wellington to a 10-4 victory over Palm Beach Gardens on Wednesday night.
Nick Lawrence had four strikeouts in four innings for the Wolverines (2-0).
Palm Beach Gardens fell to 0-3 on the season.

Matt Paciello was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBI as the Cobras (4-0) routed the Tigers (0-4) in Boynton Beach. Kyle Tedesco allowed five hits and two earned runs in five innings for Boynton Beach.
NO. 9 ROYAL PALM BEACH 11, LAKE WORTH 1 (5)
Brandon Houk allowed one hit in five innings and Justin Lauginiger was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI to lead the Wildcats (5-0) to the rout of the Trojans in Royal Palm Beach.
ATLANTIC 6, SPANISH RIVER 5
Jesse Keyffer was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI as the Eagles (3-3) edged the Sharks in Boca Raton. Ryan Berger went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Spanish River.
BOCA RATON 5, OLYMPIC HEIGHTS 2
Eli Weldy struck out six in five innings pitched and also doubled, but the Lions (0-4) fell to the Bobcats (4-0) in Boca Raton.
PALM BEACH LAKES 13, GLADES CENTRAL 8
The Rams (1-0) earned their first victory in 70 games, outslugging the Raiders (0-2) late Tuesday night in West Palm Beach. The last team Lakes beat also was the Raiders, on March 18, 2009. "It's been a long time," Palm Beach Lakes coach Dorwin Lynch said of the victory. Junior catcher Ronald Wilson and junior shortstop Dominique Hale (both 3-for-5) contributed half of Lakes' 12 hits.
