Volleyball: Jupiter upsets Boca Raton in Class 6A girls regional quarterfinal

Jupiter didn't spoil Boca Raton's senior night last month, but the Warriors did ruin the Bobcats' home regional Tuesday.
Seventh-ranked Jupiter jumped in front early and upset No. 5 Boca Raton 25-19, 25-18, 16-25, 25-16 in a Class 6A regional quarterfinal.
"The fast start was really important," said Jupiter senior middle blocker Lauren Lindley, who had 15 kills. "We started strong and got the momentum early. We had no doubts coming into the match, and early in the match it felt like it would be our match."
Boca Raton defeated Jupiter late last month, but the Warriors got revenge Tuesday and advanced to Tuesday's regional semifinals. Jupiter will face the winner of tonight's match between Royal Palm Beach and Spanish River.
"Last time we played Boca, we weren't really on our game," Jupiter coach Blane Betz said. "We knew if we came here and could mesh as a team, we could play with them."
The Warriors (19-9) won the first two games easily before Boca Raton - the District 10-6A champion - rallied to win the third game and appeared to have stolen the momentum away from Jupiter, the District 9-6A runner-up.
"I was concerned when I saw our intensity," Boca Raton coach Amanda Angermeir said. "I thought we had a chance because we finally started playing our game, and I thought we could take that into the fourth game."
However, Jupiter jumped out to a 12-5 lead in the fourth game to end the Bobcats' threat.
"I told my girls, Boca was not going to just lay down on die and that we had to stop them," Betz said.
Jupiter sophomore middle blocker Jordan Fiser had nine blocks and junior setter Brittany Lear contributed 26 assists.
Boca Raton (29-7) was led by outside hitter Katie Chmielewski's 14 kills and eight digs and Kiara Colson, who had 12 kills.

Hey! Your blog is totally awesome, I enjoy reading it since I founded it in google on the first place. But why you are so deep for other search queries? It’s really unfair. I recommend you to use ProChecker to improve your Google rankings (you can explore more about it clicking on the link in the URL field - it’s not a spam, of course, just a friendly advice). Please Keep writing! Best regards, Steve.

Those are the very moments that are going to help you and Sarah get thurgoh this. Thank God that he gave Bowen such amazing parents and above all parents that believe. At church on Sunday we sang a Song called Indescribable I'm sure you have heard it. As I was listening to the lyrics I immediately though of Bowen and your family.Indescribable, uncontainable,You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name. You are amazing GodAll powerful, untameable,Awestruck we fall to our knees as we humbly proclaimYou are amazing GodIt's amazing to think God knows every star in the sky, every hair on your head, and he knows Bowen. He's creating him and He has a purpose for him. I continue to pray for you and your family as God leads you thurgoh this journey.
