No.7 ROYAL PALM SPLITS IN OSCEOLA: Connor Brennan had two hits with three RBI to help Royal Palm Beach edge Seminole Ridge 6-5 in eight innings at the Kowboy Slam Spring Break Tournament in Osceola. In their second game of the day, Connor Rose had two hits and Christopher Barr scored two runs, but the Wildcats (17-2) fell to Kissimmee-Osceola 5-4 in nine innings.
NO. 8 BENJAMIN 2, JOHN CARROLL 0 (8): Jon Pavlov allowed two hits and struck out five in six innings and J.T. True added the go-ahead RBI single in the top of the eighth as the Buccaneers (11-3) edged the Rams in Fort Pierce.
KING'S ACADEMY 5, DELTONA-TRINITY CHRISTIAN 4: John Monte hit a go-ahead, two-run home run and Kevin Stypulkowski added two hits, including a double, and an RBI to lead the Lions (8-7) past the Eagles at the Florida League High School Invitational in Sanford.
PALM BEACH GARDENS 6, TAMPA PREP 4: Jean Cancio hit a two-run double and J.J. Schwartz added a two-run single to help the Gators overcome a four-run deficit and beat the Terrapins at the Florida League Invitational.
JUPITER CHRISTIAN 14, UMATILLA 5: Brandon Cormier had four hits, including a triple, with two RBI and four scored runs and Eric Burke added two doubles and four RBI as the Eagles (6-5) defeated the Bulldogs at the Crack of the Bat Tournament in Orlando.
WINTER GARDEN-WEST ORANGE 3, WELLINGTON 2: Jeremy Panakos pitched a complete game with three strikeouts and Tyler Corbin had two hits and an RBI, but the Wolverines (5-9) fell to the Warriors in Winter Garden.
