Palm Beach Post Staff Reports

Isabella Contreras scored two goals, leading King's Academy to a 6-2 victory over Cardinal Newman on Thursday night.

Haley Koncir added a goal and two assists for the Lions (1-0).

Erika Megrath and Dori Hamel each scored a goal and Lexy Gonzalez added an assist for Cardinal Newman (0-1).

Benjamin 9, Glades Day 1: Kali Chaplin had three goals and three assists as the Buccaneers (2-0) routed the Gators (1-1) in Belle Glade. Katie O'Hare added two goals and two assists and Haley Ciklin scored two goals for Benjamin.

Palm Beach Gardens 8, Boynton Beach 0: Kelsey Parry recorded a hat trick and Kaitlin Kater added two goals to lead the Gators (1-0) to the rout of the Tigers (0-1) in Palm Beach Gardens.

Jensen Beach 3, Wellington 0: Jackie Byers had a hat trick and Taylor Townsend added two assists as the Falcons (2-0) handled the Wolverines in Jensen Beach. Cat Rizzuti had seven saves to earn the shutout.

Lake Worth Christian 4, FAU High 0: Tiffany Anderson had two goals and an assist to lead the Defenders (1-0) past the Owls (1-1) in Boca Raton. Kaylie Hamstreet and Kendra Cashion each scored a goal and Jasmine Hernandez had seven saves to earn the shutout.

Boca Raton Christian 9, Yeshiva 4: Gabby Hurtado had three goals and three assists as the Blazers (2-0) beat the Storm (0-2) in Boca Raton.

South Florida HEAT 6, Trinity Christian 2: Lisa Bender and Gabriela Belchior each scored a goal, but the Warriors (0-1-1) fell to the Heat in Lake Worth.

Martin County 1, Jupiter 0: Kaydee Stumpf scored the only goal on an assist from Kelsey Smith to help the Tigers (2-0) edge the Warriors (0-1) in Stuart. Madison Provines recorded six saves to earn the shutout for Martin County.

South Fork 8, Jupiter Christian 0: Laurie Scott and Jody LeMaster each scored two goals to lead the Bulldogs (2-0) to the rout of the Eagles in Stuart. Mackenzie Dolan, Courtney Hughes, Presley Nolan and Tally Zamiela each contributed a goal for South Fork.
