Kiara Pleasant scored 13 points, leading second-ranked Palm Beach Gardens to a 61-28 rout of Seminole Ridge on Thursday.

The Gators improved to 8-1 on the season.

No. 3 Jupiter 58, Boca Raton 42: Joy Ostrout had 11 points as the host Warriors (8-3) beat the Bobcats (6-1).

No. 5 King's Academy 53, Benjamin 40: Christina Alessi and Brooke Garmon scored 22 points apiece to lead the Lions (5-3) over the host Buccaneers (5-4).

No. 8 Martin County 74, Port St. Lucie 24: Maria Fernandez had 19 points as the Tigers (8-2) cruised past the host Jaguars.

No. 10 Boynton Beach 37, Forest Hill 32: Taylor Shade had 26 points to help the visiting Tigers get past the Falcons (4-6) .

Lake Worth 81, Pope John Paul II 10: Medjine Inacus scored 24 points as the host Trojans (7-3) routed the Eagles.

Santaluces 55, Park Vista 24: Miriam Pierre scored 14 points to lead the host Chiefs (6-3) to the rout of the Cobras.
