Palm Beach Post Staff Reports

Evan Kupferberg had 14 points and 15 rebounds, leading the third-ranked Spanish River boys to a 64-35 rout of Boynton Beach in Thursday's Spanish River Holiday Classic.

Dante Scholl added 16 points and six assists for the Sharks (11-1).

Ans Dor scored 11 points for Boynton Beach.

In the tournament opener, Jupiter Christian edged Olympic Heights 65-63 in overtime. Garrett Klaus scored 10 points, including a game-tying three-pointer to send the game into overtime. Stefan Dombrowsky's 31 points led Jupiter Christian (6-6).

Keno Fedna scored 15 points and Jakub Ciesla added 14 for Heights.

Jupiter Christian will face Spanish River at 4:30 p.m. today in the championship game, which will be preceded by the consolation game between Boynton Beach and Olympic Heights.

BENJAMIN 71, GLADES DAY 17

Isaiah Hobbs had 17 points and seven steals and Jon Pavlov added 11 points as the Buccaneers (7-7) cruised past the Gators in Palm Beach Gardens. Jose Penton scored nine points for Glades Day.

DEERFIELD BEACH-ZION LUTHERAN 84, BOCA RATON CHRISTIAN 62

R.J. Walsh made six three-pointers and scored 32 points and Heber Michel added 10 points and 12 rebounds, but the Blazers (6-5) fell to the Lions in Boca Raton.

JENSEN BEACH 64, FORT PIERCE WESTWOOD 51

Alex Thompson scored 28 points and Sherrod Huntley added 19 as the Falcons (12-2) beat the Panthers in Jensen Beach. Lagarrin Richardson scored 12 points for Fort Pierce Westwood.

FORT MYERS-BISHOP VEROT 66, CLEWISTON 30

Ra'Vin Lee and Cedrick Brown each scored seven points, but the Tigers (7-7) fell to the Vikings in Fort Myers.
