Softball/Lacrosse: No. 5 Wellington wins at Park Vista Invitational

Stephanie Schmidt struck out seven and was 2-for-3 at the plate, leading the fifth-ranked Wellington softball team to a 9-3 victory over Vero Beach on Friday at the Park Vista Invitational in Boynton Beach.
With the victory, Wellington improved to 6-1 on the season.
No. 3 Jupiter 14, Grandview Prep 1: The Warriors routed the Pride at the Park Vista Invitational in Boynton Beach.
No. 4 West Boca Raton 3, Spanish River 1 (13): Kelsey Whalen tripled in Haley Gonzales for the decisive run in the 13th inning as the visiting Bulls (4-1) edged the Sharks in Boca Raton.
No. 6 Park Vista 10, Treasure Coast 2: The Cobras rolled over the Titans at the Park Vista Invitational.
Miami-Westminster Christian 8, Seminole Ridge 1: Katrina Polyari scored the lone run as the Hawks (1-4) fell to the Lions at the Park Vista Invitational.
Orange Park-Oakleaf 8, Suncoast 3: Brianne Lint was 2-for-3 with a double and a three-run homer, but the Chargers (3-2) fell to the Knights at the Park Vista Invitational.
King's Academy 15, Berean Christian 0 (3): Sam Chaison was 2-for-3 with a double, a triple and four RBIs and Abby Cornelius pitched a no-hitter as the Lions (3-5) routed the Bulldogs in West Palm Beach.
Wellington Christian 9, Miami Country Day 8: Cali Gumpel collected four hits, including two doubles, and scored two runs and Jalysa Semenuk struck out 11 as the Eagles (3-1) edged the Spartans in Royal Palm Beach.
Trinity Christian 16, Oxbridge 0 (5): The Thunderwolves (0-5) fell to the Warriors in Lake Worth.
Miami-Princeton Christian 21, Boca Christian 7: Alex Link had two RBI and scored two runs and Kaley Jones added an RBI and a run, but the Blazers (2-1) fell to the Panthers in Miami.
BOYS LACROSSE
Palm Beach Central 17, Cardinal Newman 6: Sammy Peede had five goals and two assists and Nick Griffin added four goals and an assist to lead the Broncos (2-0) over the Crusaders (0-2) in Wellington.
Oxbridge Academy 8, Suncoast 5: Zach Ranta had three goals and two assists and Colin Hayek added four groundballs and five takeaways as the Thunderwolves (2-0) defeated the Chargers in West Palm Beach. Zach Ranta had three goals and two assists and Chase Sanders added three goals for Suncoast.
Wellington 7, Jensen Beach 6: Jason D'aoust scored four goals and Tyler Kuhlman and Patrick Oporto each added a goal and an assist as the Wolverines (2-1) edged the Falcons (0-1) in Wellington.
St. Andrew's 11, Benjamin 8: Ryan Silvester scored three goals, but the Buccaneers (1-1) fell to the Scots (3-0) in Palm Beach Gardens.
Spanish River 15, Miami Country Day 3: Evan Beacon had four goals and two assists and Davis Diamond added four goals and an assist to lead the Sharks (2-0) to the easy win over the Spartans in Boca Raton. Jake Diamond had 14 saves for the Sharks.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Palm Beach Central 12, West Boca Raton 10: Jamie Intile and Morgan Hull scored four goals apiece as the Broncos (1-1) held off the Bulls (0-1) in Wellington.

That would haver been jhs yesterday but after defeating lhp today they are 3 and 0.
