Soccer: No. 2 Palm Beach Central advances to district final

Yulie Lopez's hat trick led second-ranked Palm Beach Central to a 6-1 victory over Palm Beach Gardens in a District 9-5A girls soccer semifinal Wednesday night in Wellington.
Kasey Boyd added a goal and Hayley Bruner had five saves for top-seeded Palm Beach Central. The Broncos will face third-seeded Wellington in the district final at 7 p.m. Friday.
Wellington 2, Jupiter 1: Kat Weiss scored a goal, but the second-seeded Warriors fell to the third-seeded Wolverines in the other District 9-5A semifinal in Wellington.
District 10-5A
No. 3 Boca Raton 1, Spanish River 0: Morgan Mannweillor scored the only goal as the top-seeded Bobcats (17-3-1) edged the fifth-seeded Sharks in Boca Raton. The Bobcats will face West Boca Raton in Friday's district final.
West Boca Raton 5, Park Vista 4: Kelly Harris scored four goals and Naty Olsak added another to help the third-seeded Bulls (11-5-3) edge the second-seeded Cobras in Boca Raton.
District 14-4A
South Fork 4, Olympic Heights 1: Laurie Scott and Jody LeMaster each scored two goals to lead the North top-seeded Bulldogs (16-1-1) past the South second-seeded Lions in Royal Palm Beach. The Bulldogs face Martin County in Friday's final.
Martin County 2, Royal Palm Beach 1 (2 OTs): Molly Bradfield scored the winning penalty kick to lift the Tigers (11-3-5) past the Wildcats in Royal Palm Beach. Karleigh Cox added a goal for the Tigers in regulation.
District 15-3A
Suncoast 3, Dreyfoos 0: Kelly Kaps, Amanda Lusignan and Jessica Steen each scored a goal to lead the third-seeded Chargers over the second-seeded Jaguars in Jensen Beach. The Chargers will play Jensen Beach in Friday's final.
Jensen Beach 8, Okeechobee 0: Amanda Stewart scored two goals and Lexi Ferguson added a goal and two assists to lead the top-seeded Falcons (11-8-2) to the rout of the fifth-seeded Brahmans in Jensen Beach. Hannah Weisse recorded her fourth shutout.
District 13-2A
No. 1 American Heritage 1, Fort Lauderdale-Pine Crest 0: Taylor Pak scored the one lone goal to help the top-seeded Stallions (19-0-1) escape the fourth-seeded Panthers in Boca Raton. Courtney Tompkins had four saves for the Stallions, who will face Pompano Beach-North Broward Prep in Friday's final in Boca Raton.
Pompano Beach-North Broward Prep 5, St. Andrew's 2: The third-seeded Scots fell to the fifth-seeded Eagles (16-5-3) in Boca Raton.
District 12-2A
No. 4 Benjamin 2, King's Academy 0: Kali Chaplin scored two goals and Jenna Keller made six saves to earn the shutout as the Buccaneers (17-0-1) stopped the Lions in Palm Beach Gardens. Benjamin will face Cardinal Newman in Friday's final.
Cardinal Newman 4, Lincoln Park Academy 3: Jodi Bronstien had three goals and an assist and Lexy Gonzalez added a goal and two assists to lead the second-seeded Crusaders (8-8-1) past the third-seeded Greyhounds in Palm Beach Gardens.
BOYS
No. 3 Benjamin 2, Clewiston 1: Kevin Byrne scored two goals to help the Buccaneers (15-0-2) top the Tigers in Clewiston.
No. 10 Park Vista 4, Palm Beach Gardens 3: Alejandro Noguera scored the winning goal to help the Cobras (10-5-4) edge the Gators in Boynton Beach. Steve Sosa added a goal for the Cobras.
Santaluces 2, Seminole Ridge 1: Travis Birgo scored a goal, but the Hawks (5-10-2) fell to the Chiefs in Lantana.
Dreyfoos 2, Cardinal Newman 2: Steffan Gawlikowski and Rami Retes each scored a goal as the Jaguars (3-11-1) tied the Crusaders in West Palm Beach.
Palm Beach Lakes 6, Glades Central 2: Steve Hypolite and Kevin Mcfarland each scored two goals as the Rams (11-6-2) handled the Raiders in West Palm Beach.
