Soccer: King's Academy girls stop Cardinal Newman

Brittany Alaniz, Katie Karigbaum and Daysi Wilkinson each scored a goal, leading the King's Academy girls soccer team to a 3-1 victory over Cardinal Newman on Thursday night.

King's improved to 6-2 on the season.

Erika Megrath scored for Cardinal Newman (2-4-1).

Jupiter Christian 2, Trinity Christian 1: Dahlia Pierre scored on an assist by Savannah Conboy, but the Warriors (5-3) fell to the Eagles in Lake Worth.

Pine School 2, Berean Christian 0: Samantha Els and Annalise Romero scored goals to lead the Knights (3-4) over the Bulldogs in West Palm Beach.

St. Andrew's 3, Yeshiva 1: Adrian Rius scored two goals and Kendall Sweetapple added another as the Scots (6-4) beat the Storm in Boca Raton.

American Heritage 10, Fort Lauderdale-Calvary Christian 1: Courtney Tompkins and Alexa Giordano each scored a goal to lead the Stallions (10-0) to the rout of the Eagles in Delray Beach.

BOYS

King's Academy 3, Glades Central 1: Austin Masi scored a hat trick as the Lions (7-0) defeated the Raiders in Belle Glade. Nick Bates had six saves for King's.

Lake Worth Christian 1, Donna Klein 1: Philip Everette scored the goal for the Defenders (0-5-1) in a tie with the Eagles in Boca Raton.

American Heritage 8, Fort Lauderdale-Calvary Christian 0: Greg Joseph scored a hat trick and Austin Mills added two goals and two assists as the Stallions (8-0) earned the easy victory over the Eagles in Fort Lauderdale.
