Boys Basketball
Village Academy 43, Glades Central 42: Wesley Michael made the game-winning basket with 10 seconds remaining to help the Tigers (7-0) get past the Raiders in Delray Beach. Michael had 21 points and four assists and Trequan Smith had 10 rebounds for the Tigers.
Benjamin 64, Palm Beach Central 60: Isaiah Hobbs had 16 points and six rebounds and Austin Rosenthal had 14 points and six assists to lead the Buccaneers (4-4) past the Broncos (3-3) in Palm Beach Gardens. Abdul Dial led Central with 18 points.
Lake Worth Christian 84, Morningside Academy 27: Jeantal Cylla had 25 points and seven rebounds and Ruben Elva had 12 points and seven rebounds to lead the Defenders (5-1) past the Eagles at Palm Beach Atlantic.
No. 4 Jupiter 50, Cardinal Newman 40: Grant Pelchen had 15 points and J.D. Deepasquale had 10 points to lead the Warriors (4-1) past the Crusaders (2-4) in West Palm Beach. Andrew Owers had 12 points for Newman.
Royal Palm Beach 67, No. 10 Wellington 63: Iven Rosier hit a 25-foot shot to send the game into overtime and help the Wildcats (4-1) beat the Wolverines (6-1) in Royal Palm Beach. Rosier had nine points and seven assists and JoJo Williams had 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Wildcats. Allen Fabius had 16 points for Wellington.
Santaluces 54, Park Vista 50: Adam Ziomek had 21 points to help lead the Chiefs past the Cobras (4-3) in Boynton Beach. Keith Dow had 20 points for the Cobras in the loss.
Girls Basketball
Sebastian River 65, Palm Beach Lakes 64: Shanovia Dove had 19 points and six steals and Xana Dove had 19 points and nine rebounds, but the Rams (6-2) fell to the Sharks in West Palm Beach.
Boys soccer
Calvary Christian 4, Pope Jon Paul II 2: Grant Retamar scored two goals for the Eagles (2-8) but it was not enough to get past the Eagles in Boca Raton.
Girls soccer
American Heritage (14-0-1) posted a 1-0-1 record at the Timberwolf Classic in Tallahassee, beating Jacksonville-Episcopal 4-1 and tying Lakeland-George Jenkins at 2. Sarah Coy, Asia Lee-Fatt, Mayra Pelayo and Jamie Marzano each scored one goal against Episcopal. Coy and Susie Espinoza scored against George Jenkins.
Wrestling
Royal Palm Beach posted a 5-0 record in a team competition at Deerfield Beach. Royal Palm Beach defeated Miramar (42-33), Deerfield Beach (54-21), Fort Lauderdale-Dillard (66-12), Coral Springs Charter (36-27) and Hollywood-McArthur (score unavailable).
