Shanovia Dove had 40 points and No. 5 Palm Beach Lakes was able to hold off No. 4 Grandview Prep in a showdown of area top-10 teams at the Martin Luther King Holiday Classic in West Palm Beach.
Grandview Prep led 30-29 at halftime, but Lakes (13-7) took control by outscoring the Pride (18-2) 25-12 in the third quarter.
Vionise Pierre-Louis had 26 points and Neydja Petithomme had 23 for Grandview.
Coconut Creek 53, No. 3 Boynton Beach 44: Ta'Kerria Brown had 22 points for the Tigers (16-5), who fell to the Cougars (20-0) at the Martin Luther King Holiday Classic.
No. 7 Palm Beach Central 62, Miami Northwestern 39: Crystal Primm scored 18 points to lead the Broncos (12-7) to victory in the Martin Luther King Holiday Classic.
No. 9 Park Vista 61, Calvary Christian 38: Emily Lochten had 22 points and Kiara Meeks had 16 points to lead the Cobras (12-9) past the Eagles in Boynton Beach.
Gulliver Prep 48, West Boca Raton 34: Shaina Wottiz had 17 points and Andrea Pittell had eight points for the Bulls (5-17), who fell to the Raiders in Miami.
Gainesville-Bucholz 72, Fort Pierce Central 18: Savannah Haule had four points for the Cobras (10-12), who fell to the Bobcats at the Martin Luther King Holiday Classic in West Palm Beach.
BOYS
No. 1 Grandview Prep 74, Miami Jackson 64: Ivan Canete recorded 23 points and 20 rebounds to lead the Pride (19-0) to victory in Miami.
No. 2 Palm Beach Lakes 77, Miami Senior 68: JD Coleman scored 23 points and Quincy Rideau added 20 points to lead the Rams (15-1) to victory over the Stingarees in West Palm Beach.
No. 3 St. Andrew's 66, Inlet Grove 38: George Andino had 18 points and Sean Mooney had 11 points, six assists and five rebounds to lead the Scots (15-2) past the Hurricanes (7-12) in Boca Raton. A.J. McAdory had 10 points for Inlet Grove.
No. 7 Jupiter 68, Coral Reef 45: Matt Zicaro had 17 points and eight rebounds and Grant Pelchen had 14 points to lead the Warriors (13-4) past the Barracudas (16-4) in Miami.
Palm Beach Gardens 48, No. 9 Wellington 43: Brandon Steven scored 24 points to lead the Gators (2-17) past the Wolverines (14-7) in Palm Beach Gardens. Stephon Gordon had 18 points for Wellington.
Santaluces 71, Boynton Beach 56: Peter Strzelecki scored 19 points and Adam Ziomek added 10 assists to lead the Chiefs (6-14) past the Tigers in Lantana. Donte Sylencieoux led Boynton Beach with 15 points.
Treasure Coast 65, Royal Palm Beach 44: Justin Nicolas scored 21 points to lead the Titans (14-5) past the Wildcats (12-5) in Royal Palm Beach. Ivenor Rosier paced the Wildcats with 16 points.
St. Edwards 56, Pope John Paul II 47: Kevin Johnston scored 21 points for the Eagles (8-10) in a loss in Boca Raton.
Suncoast 64, Boca Raton 56: Jonathan Odjo scored 14 points to lead the Chargers (16-4) past the Bobcats in Riviera Beach. Max McKee had 16 points for Boca.
Pahokee 64, Glades Central 57: James Johnson scored 22 points and Jeleek Mitchell added 19 points, nine rebounds and four blocks to lead the Blue Devils (11-4) past the Raiders in Pahokee. Antone Paige added 13 rebounds.
BOYS SOCCER
St. Andrew's 4, Yeshiva 1: Colin Schotter had three goals and Min Choy had two assists to lead the Scots (5-10-3) past the Storm in Boca.

CAITLIN HAYES I understand a huge congratulations are in order young lady. I am very proud of you. I am honored to have had the opportunity of coaching you, I knew great things were in store for you. You have overcome a lot and through your hard work and love of the game (talent too) you have becoming a Palm Beach County star basketball player.
