Sam Murphy threw a complete game, striking out nine, as Summit Christian, the area's top-ranked baseball team, shut out host John I. Leonard 9-0 on Monday night in the John I. Leonard Tournament.

Efren Sanchez and Anthony Delaney each had two hits for the Saints (10-2). Sanchez's RBI single in the fourth drove in Tyler Dupont and Brandon Swass.

No. 9 Atlantic 3, Santaluces 2: Sam Bergida threw a four-hitter and struck out five as the Eagles (11-3) edged the Chiefs in the Leonard Tournament. Cody Bryant had two doubles, a single, and scored twice for Atlantic.

No. 2 Palm Beach Central 8, Sanford-Seminole 0: Ian Hagenmiller hit a three-run homer and Danny Hernandez had two singles and a double as the Broncos (11-2) defeated the Fighting Seminoles in the Florida League High School Invitational in Sanford.

No. 6 American Heritage 4, Bryant (Ark.) 2: Dylan Silva pitched a complete game with nine strikeouts and Connor Power added two hits with an RBI double to lead the Stallions (10-4) past the Hornets in the Florida Collegiate League Invitational in Orlando.

No. 7 Royal Palm Beach 1, Deltona 0: Justin Lauginiger threw a two-hit shutout, striking out 10 and walking none, as the Wildcats (17-1) edged the Wolves in the Kowboy Slam Spring Break Tournament in Kissimmee. Connor Brennan had an RBI single for the game's only run.

Forest Hill 12, Cardinal Newman 0: Mike Murray struck out 15 in a two-hit shutout and had three hits and two RBI to help the Falcons (8-5) roll by the Crusaders in the Lake Worth Spring Break Tournament. Anthony Batista added three hits and two RBI for Forest Hill.

Palm Beach Gardens 10, New Smyrna Beach 5: James Jean broke a 5-5 tie with a three-run homer in the sixth and the Gators (8-5) rolled to a win over the Barracudas at the Florida League High School Invitational. Jean went 2-for-3 and finished with five RBI in Gardens' fifth straight victory.

Montverde Academy 8, King's Academy 7: Kevin Stypulkowski had four hits and four RBI but the Lions (7-7) fell to the Eagles at the Florida League High School Invitational in Sanford.

Jupiter Christian 7, Groveland-South Lake 2: Eric Burke had two hits and two RBI, and Brandon Cormier had two hits and a run as the Eagles (5-5) defeated the Warriors (8-5) at the Crack of the Bat Tournament in Orlando.

Orlando-Timber Creek 3, Wellington 0: David Koos threw a complete game and struck out four, and Tyler Corbin doubled, but the Wolverines (5-8) fell to the Wolves in Orlando.

St. Andrew's 9, Miami-Archbishop Curley 1: Danny Young homered, doubled, scored three runs and drove in three as the Scots (6-5) beat the Knights in Boca Raton. David Lundberg threw a complete game with eight strikeouts for St. Andrew's.

SOFTBALL

St. Andrew's 20, Boca Raton Christian 0 (3): Amanda Coyle threw a no-hitter and struck out five to help the Scots (9-1) rout the Blazers (6-6) in Boca Raton. Coyle also had two hits and two RBI. Elle Pechiney added a triple, single, five RBI and two runs scored.

Fort Lauderdale-Calvary Christian 11, Lake Worth Christian 1 (6): Lexi Muniz had a single, run scored and two stolen bases but the Defenders (5-6) fell to the Eagles in Boynton.

BOYS LACROSSE

Pope John Paul II 16, Palm Beach Central 6: Sean Tucker had three goals and four assists, and Mikey Urso added four goals as the Eagles (7-3) routed the Broncos in Boca Raton.

McDonogh (Md.) 12, Benjamin 5: Nick Gardner had two goals, and Rob Dattolo, Robert Jacobs and Colby Kempe added one each but the Buccaneers (5-3) fell to the Eagles in Chapel Hill, N.C.
