Jupiter Christian, which during the past decade built one of the state’s top small-school football programs, expected this to be a down season.
It didn’t expect to fall this far.
Because of a loss of several players, the perennial playoff contender will likely become independent and play a toned-down schedule for 2012.

“What we’re seeing is the result of parents making the decision to move their kids mostly because they would prefer not to play in a rebuilding season,” Colman said.
Then why did you fire the entire boys basketball staff? Why were some soccer coaches fired? What happened with the Lax coach?
Typical lying politician, but go ahead if it makes you sleep better at night, blame the parents.

So it's all good when you take your recruited team on the field to kick the crap out of all these "zions" and "upper rooms", but when it looks like your going to be on at least a level playing field you turn tail and run the other way? Hey coaches, try coaching what you got, then we'll see if you guys are truely good coaches, or get exposed.

Check your facts They were both part time players and not even on the 2008 team
come on commented on August 3, 2012 at 12:17 p.m.: report abuse
First it was "name one player in JCS history"
Then 2 are named
now they only played part time
All football players play part time
Whats the point.
The reason for their success was the transfers initially and the coaches building a place to play that was easy to get in and had a great opportunity for accolades
Fa-que-2 commented on August 3, 2012 at 2:06 p.m.: report abuse
Yeah right... The only reason why white people come to the hood is to buy drugs and recruit talent... Lol
U rgt commented on August 3, 2012 at 3:15 p.m.: report abuse
Same reasons why anyone would go to the HOOD
Police your neighborhood and stop complaining.
Powers/JCS gave these kids a chance to get an education and play ball.
Who from the HOOD helped them
FA-que-2 commented on August 4, 2012 at 8:54 p.m.: report abuse
