Girls volleyball: Tuesday's district tournament results

Post Beach Post Staff Report
Madison Ahearn recorded 12 service points, 10 digs and six kills to lead the Dwyer girls volleyball team (18-8, No. 8 Post Top 10) past Forest Hill 25-16, 25-12, 25-7 in District 15-5A tournament play in Wellington on Tuesday.
The Panthers will play Wellington (16-4, No. 3 Post Top 10) today. Carly DeLoach added 22 assists, eight service points and eight digs for Dwyer.
In the district's other game, West Boca Raton beat John I. Leonard 25-3, 25-19, 25-14 and will play Spanish River tonight. Monica Shevock's 19 service points led the Bulls, and Gracie Delphing added eight kills.
District 6-6A
Vero Beach d. Centennial 25-6, 25-13, 25-21: Mackenzie Patterson had seven digs, three kils and two aces and Abbey Rouch added six digs, three kills and three aces, but the Eagles (13-10) fell to the Indians in Vero Beach.
District 14-4A
Suncoast d. Boynton Beach 25-12, 25-23, 25-8: Christie Elford had 31 service points, 13 kills and nine aces to help the Chargers (10-12) eliminate the Tigers in Riviera Beach. Bailey Cantwell added 27 assists, eight service points and three aces and Sienna Schwartz contributed 16 digs for Suncoast, which will play Okeechobee at 5:30 tonight in Jensen Beach.
No. 9 Okeechobee d. Fort Pierce Central 25-2, 25-5, 25-7: Sarah Davis had 23 consecutive service points (27 total for the match) and 12 assists and LeAnna Cotton added 19 assists and nine kills to help the second-seeded Brahmans (17-5) roll past the seventh-seeded Cobras in Jensen Beach. Rebekah Bryan had 10 kills for Okeechobee, who will meet Suncoast in at 5:30 p.m. today in a semifinal match in Jensen Beach.
Fort Pierce Westwood d. Lincoln Park Academy 25-18, 9-25, 25-23, 20-25, 15-13: Megan Gillen had 17 kills and three aces and Rachel Stanton added 24 assists for the Greyhounds (5-13) who fell to the Panthers in the District 14-4A match in Jensen Beach.
District 15-4A
Fort Lauderdale-Archbishop McCarth d. Olympic Heights 25-18, 26-28, 24-26, 25-14, 15-5: Seema Patel recorded 24 assists and Sabrine Charif added 10 kills for the Lions (8-12), but it was not enough as they were eliminated by the Mavericks (17-8) in Fort Lauderdale.
District 13-3A
Cardinal Newman d. Clewiston 25-10, 25-8, 25-7: Hannah Fountain had nine service points and four aces and Aubrey Logan added 15 service points, three aces and five kills to lead the Crusaders (14-9) past the Tigers in West Palm Beach. Cardinal Newman plays St. Andrew's at 7 p.m. Thursday.
St. Andrew's d. Glades Central 25-4, 25-9, 25-6: Kim Boshart had 25 assists and six aces for the Scots (16-10) in their win over Glades Central in West Palm Beach. Sarah Adams added 10 kills for St. Andrew's, which will face host Cardinal Newman at 7 p.m. Thursday.
District 13-2A
Benjamin d. No. 7 Pope John Paul 25-23, 22-25, 25-18, 14-25, 15-8: Christie Nicklaus had 23 digs and 16 kills and Christine Casey added 19 kills and four blocks to lead the third-seeded Buccaneers (14-6) past the second-seeded Eagles (18-5) in Palm Beach Gardens. Gabby Gaudet added 40 assists for Benjamin, who will meet John Carroll for the district title at 7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Beach Gardens. Caitlin Miko recorded 16 kills and five service points and Emma Rocha added 30 assists and 10 service points for Pope John Paul.
No. 6 John Carroll d. King's Academy 25-14, 25-19, 25-17: Taylor Zirwas had 15 kills, 12 digs and 11 service points for the Rams (21-6) as they eliminated the Lions (10-17) in Palm Beach Gardens. Mikah Adams had 11 digs Briana Whalin added six kill and one block for King's Academy. Alex Smith added 16 digs and seven service points, and Ashlyn Baliton contributed 37 assists, 10 digs and nine service points for John Carroll.
District 13-1A
No. 2 Lake Worth Christian d. Grandview Prep 25-9, 25-7, 25-8: Amanda King had 18 assists and 12 service points and Brytney Annis added 12 kills to help the top-seeded Defenders (23-3) sweep the fourth-seeded Pride (7-5) in Boca Raton. Allie Catapano had three kills for the Pride. Gabby Fisher had 15 service points for Lake Worth Christian who will meet Boca Raton Christian in Thursday's championship match at 7 p.m. in Boca Raton.
Boca Raton Christian d. Village Academy 25-14, 25-3, 25-14: Monica Sowers had 22 service points, eight aces and 22 assists and Kayli Clough added 14 service points, seven aces and four kills to lead the Blazers (12-11) past the Tigers (2-7) in Boca Raton.
District 12-1A
Trinity Christian d. Wellington Christian 25-13, 25-10, 25-12: Kayleigh Aron had 17 service points and four aces and Missy Kulik added 12 kills and 10 service points to help Trinity (13-13) sweep Wellington Christian in Hobe Sound. Trinity Christian will play the Pine School at 7 p.m. Thursday. The Pine School beat Community Christian 25-11, 25-12, 25-9.
Berean Christian d. Morningside Academy 25-16, 23-25, 23-25, 30-28, 15-4: Rachel Romnosky recorded 22 service points to help the Bulldogs (9-13) beat the Eagles in Stuart. Alison Flinn added eight kills for Berean Christian, which will face Summit Christian at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
