Palm Beach Post Staff Reports
Stephanie Ball scored 21 points, including an overtime buzzer-beater, to help third-ranked Lincoln Park Academy escape Martin County 79-78 on Friday night.
Brandy Montgomery scored 35 points and Dyana Pierre added 21 points and 12 rebounds for Lincoln Park (17-2).
Taryn Richard led the Tigers with 23 points.
No. 1 Trinity Christian 73, Naples-Community Christian 35: Danielle McCray had 25 points and 15 rebounds as the Warriors (19-2) rolled in Naples.
No. 7 Cardinal Newman 57, Seminole Ridge 26: Nicki Shaffer scored 20 points and Antonella Marino added 14 to help the Crusaders beat the Hawks (5-20) in Loxahatchee. Rebecca Lane had five points and seven rebounds for Seminole Ridge.
King's Academy 60, Berean Christian 37: Christina Alessi and Brooke Garmon each had 20 points and 15 rebounds to help the Lions (14-10) defeat the Bulldogs in Boca Raton. Ke'Andrenee Berry led Berean Christian with 15 points.
Boynton Beach 56, Inlet Grove 41: Taylor Shade scored 35 points to lead the Tigers (12-9) past the Hurricanes in Boynton Beach.
St. Andrew's 64, Coral Springs 28: Tayler Tremblay had 22 points, seven assists and five steals to lead the Scots (17-4) to the easy win over the Colts in Boca Raton. Angela Alvarez added a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds in the win.
