Palm Beach Post Reports

Ray Wilson ran for 120 yards and three touchdowns as Palm Beach Central prepped for the playoffs with a 37-0 rout of Palm Beach Lakes on Friday night.

Just 41 seconds into the game, Wilson broke loose for a 42-yard touchdown run.

"(Wilson) played a tremendous game for us," Palm Beach Central coach Rod Harris said, "but the offensive line deserves credit for opening up those holes for him."

After the Broncos scored when they recovered a fumble in the end zone, Wilson scored on a 5-yard touchdown run and he added a 38-yard score. Palm Beach Central's final touchdown came on a 10-yard pass from Kyle Shafer to Bryan Rodberg.

A small scrum broke out during the post-game handshake involving 10-15 players from both teams.

"Guys were just wrestling around" Harris said, downplaying the incident.

With a four-game winning streak the Broncos travel to Loxahatchee for a rematch against Seminole Ridge. The Hawks defeated the Broncos 21-6 in the season opener.

"Second part of the season starts next week," Harris said. "We are a much better football than we were back in September, but so are they. We are going to need all three phases of the game to beat Seminole Ridge."
