Soccer: West Boca Raton girls stop King's Academy

Kaitlyn Docherty, Bridget Clarke and Rachell Pittell all scored a goal to lead West Boca Raton to a 3-1 girls soccer victory Friday over host King's Academy at the Adidas Tournament in West Palm Beach.
Elizabeth Tatuto had four saves for the Bulls (8-3-3), who will face Merritt Island at 1 p.m. today in the semifinals.
Wellington 1, Olympic Heights 1: Callie Kinard scored a goal and Maddy Miller added an assist and 12 saves, but the Lions (5-8-3) fell to the Wolverines 3-2 on penalty kicks at the Adidas Tournament in West Palm Beach.
Plantation-American Heritage 3, Spanish River 0: The Sharks were shut down by the Patriots (15-1) at the Adidas Tournament in West Palm Beach. Spanish River will face Olympic Heights at 1 p.m. today.
Merritt Island 3, Jensen Beach 0: The Falcons (7-7-2) fell to the Indians at the Adidas Tournament in West Palm Beach. The Falcons will face host King's Academy at 3 p.m. today.

King's Academy 4, Spanish River 1: Austin Masi had two goals and an assist and Travis Gonzalez added two goals to lead the Lions (11-3) over the Sharks at the Adidas Tournament at King's Academy in West Palm Beach. Nick Bates had four saves for the Lions. The Lions will face Wellington in the semifinals at 7 tonight.
Park Vista 2, Maitland-Orangewood Christian 0: Aryeh Ebrahimi and Danny Pozo each scored goals, leading the Cobras (7-3-3) over the Rams at the Adidas Tournament at King's Academy in West Palm Beach. Goalkeeper seven saves fifth shutout Cory Hartstein had seven saves to earn his fifth shutout for Park Vista, which advances to face Plantation-American Heritage at 5 p.m. today.
