Defense was tough intercepting 4 passes and returning two of them for TD's (Lowe and Kelly) and shutting them out, with the only score by CCA coming on a fumble return.
Bussey threw for 152 yards, had 1 TD passing to Stypulkowski and rushed for another. We ran for 321 yards and Grove rushed for two TD's.
This was a big district win for the Lions and we are now 5 - 0. Calvary's overtime win last year kept us from making the play offs. They were 3 - 1 coming into tonight with a three game winning streak and a QB on the verge of breaking a Broward County passing record.
Next week it's Benjamin who just beat up on poor little St. Andrews 51 - 19. They are now 3 - 1. It should be a fun night and hopefully a little district beat down on the Bucs!!!!!
These stats were lifted from the Sun Sentinel and some of the stats don't match the Post, but check out Brian Grove - 23 rushes for 213 yards and two TD's!
