As a person who has watched the glades area teams for years I can not believe how bad it has become. Pahokee, Glades Central, Glades Day, and Clewiston have low enrollment. Pahokee and Clewiston are dreadfully awful in football. Glades day will be done when Taylor leaves. Glades Central is needing players now! Glades Central always have used home grown glades raised kids to win, not new comers. As hard as it is to believe I will say the state champion days are gone.

Well I can only speak for Glades Central..... Just take a look at the home grown talent on the East Belle Glade teams that are actually from Belle Glade...... S. Ridge, R.P.B. AND P.B.Central, hell even J.I.Leonard.... I'm not saying all, But most of the GOOD talent on these teams are from the area. Do I blame the kids for wanting to play by any means possible? No. Just ask most of the play makers from these teams where they're from..... Don't be surprised when they tell you where. If somebody from one of these teams transfer to G.Central, then we're stealing talent. That's the home grown kids on them kids....... We can only worry about what we got and we will prevail...... WE READY!!!!!

True I agree,and I feel that,another reason why we loosing is because,half of our seniors us not on the feikd via laziness or academically dusable.

Talents is less this year, but the coaches available to develop that talent are not there as well.

"Be Real", let me put the bulls---t in perspective. You see, everyone walking around talking about the muck is 0-3. Even when you read the papers, the reporter are giving teams like Dwyer, A. Heritage and Plantation their props for defeating G.C. for the FIRST time ever. Sometimes its just like that! Especially when you're a young team with inexperienced players. However, have your fun while we are down because their will be another time when we get that ass again. Raiders keep your head up! Its very hard to play your A game when you're not use to loosing but this too shall pass.
In case everyone didn't notice all the Glades Football programs have gone down because of the economy. Many people have moved out of the area for jobs and they had to take their children with them. You can't blame them, they have to support their families. If we get the players back from West Palm to the MUCK, we would be unstoppable. Look back to when all 4 teams went to state and we had 3 of 4 state champ. That's about around the time the economy started to go bad, the Sugar Mill in Clewiston closed and even Pahokee closed down a fast food joint. When Businesses start to close down and there is no where to work, you have to do what ever it takes to support your family.
Now that I truly explained the MUCK situation, For the person that said, "Glades programs are finished, you are dead ass wrong. Everyone goes through a rebuilding stage and this is our year. As long as you win conference games and the playoff games, all of those other games don't even matter.
What we need to do as MUCK family is to support our kids even if they win or loose. Don't tear them down any more than they already are. When they loose a game, understand that you can't win them all. Also, Dwyer and American Heitage are no garbage teams. They are on our level. No one will continuously beat a good team every year, they are bound to beat you sooner or later. But, no matter what the record looks like as of today, a true Raider is never scared. As the old t-shirts say, " Any- time, Any place Anywhere! Any questions? Before you respond to my comment, do your damn research! "Mr or Ms. Be Real" See Ya! Die Hard Raider Fan, Class of 85.

Bottom line, there is a lot of talent on the sidelines, players not in the right position, coaches that do not know what they are doing. Bad play calling, and running players till they drop because they feel that this is the only way to go. Two transfer QB's that stink at that position, and should have stayed at their own school, nothing but bad hype. Until these coaches get a grip, we will not win another game. This is not rebuilding when you use senior transfers who could care a less about their teammates. And if you look at the teams we have played, from RPB two Park Vista, all those games could have been won if not for fumbles, interceptions, sacks, and no by transfer quarterbacks and a line with no real training. The Coaches Loose the game, all these teams we played were average at best, not the quality that we have seen in the past.

@ Truth, It could not have been said better! You are totally correct. There is so much talent sitting on the side lines being looked over. It's hard to believe that a OC could do this much damage to a team in such a short period of time.

There is not any talent standing on the sideline, the kids standing on the sideline is there for a reason, if you think they are so, good come to practice Monday- Thursday and see how good these kids are. Honestly we are weak, we are slow, we are not tough, and we have no heart. stop blaming the men that give their time to teach these kids. Everyone say give lil will the ball, you can't just give him the ball without the other team keying in on him. he does not have guys like Jamie that the other team has to worry about, his line is not good, and the other skill players do not have the it factor. Our kids do not like lifting weights, they not work on speed, and they do not listen to the coaches. Those kids are like some of the parents of this blog, just full of excuses. Last, we are holding high school football coaches to a higher standard than our city mayor, because the last time I checked, the city was a living he**. the city is full of waste and all we care about is football, that's why we get labeled low lifers. I wish we was this passionate about cleaning up our city; maybe we would be making some progress. Belle Glade it is bigger than football if they go 0-10 and all of the senior graduate high school and enroll in college then we win. What's Next!

THIS IS RIDICULOUS SOME OF THE THINGS BEING SAID. COACHES ARE THE ONES THAT GET KIDS TO RESPOND, TO LIFT WEIGHTS, TO BE ACCOUNTABLE, TO PERFORM. THATS WHY THEY HAVE COACH IN FRONT OF THEIR NAME! THE EXCUSES HERE ARE COMICAL. WHY CANT THERE JUST BE SOME ADMITTING THAT WILLIE SNEAD, AND THEN JET WERE BACKSTABBED AND NOW THIS IS THE RETURNING KARMA! GLADES CENTRAL TEAM 0-4? ARE YOU KIDDING ME.. YOU CANT TELL ME AT GC WORSE YEARS THE 4 TEAMS THEY LOST TWO SHOULD OF BEAT GC. IT COMES DOWN TO COACHING AND PLAYERS RESPONDING TO COACHING!

Don't worry gc had to do a lot of regrouping this year because of so many seniors graduating. Each week the team has looked better. We are loosing by self inflicting cuts. All of gc games were close until the 4th quarter against top of the line teams. We lose the game in the 4th quarter by turnovers but I'm very optimistic we will be back. Gc has talent but just needs to stop the turnovers in the 4th quarter and small mistakes on defense. Let them talk now. We had a setback to produce a major comeback.

RIddel Anthony is abusing the Kids at GC, Threatened A Washington, to play quarterback or quit. and he abuses the rest of the team as well. This coach needs to go!!! It is his way or leave.

To the fans, the coaches, the teams we lost to (0-4) and all others. Hear this: Fans be fans and support our team. I have heard many stories about our team's talent, our team's performance and our coaching staff. A lot of that is not my specialty but if any believe you can make a positive difference please get involve and cause an improvement. I am a fan that is why I was at all games sitting and saying "Go Raiders" but if you noticed our losses you knew it was just a matter of time. We are back on track and I believe like many others that neither of those teams can beat us now. We are looking forward. So 0-4 teams count yourself lucky that you were on the schedule early. To the coaches, Team members, Parents, Faithful and Respectable fans. (Respectable fans because some don't even respect the fact that children and the players parents could be sitting beside them in the stands,(DIRTY MOUTHS). Thank you for doing what you do and know that I am in the stand doing what I do. We’ll let me thank all our fans cause being present is support. If you accept the fact that talent is leaving the area and that good coaches have been forced to leave then we need to get used to losing a few as we prepare for the playoffs and the state's final game each year. Remember that negative things you say travels further than your mouth and your own ears.

The 2013 Team will pleasantly surprise everyone in the Muck. Their attitude is they are not only playing for their team but they are playing for everyone in the stands (their community). There is a silent drive building within the team to work hard not only for themselves but for each other. They are winning in 7 on 7 (just qualified for the IMG National Championship), they are working in the weight room and they are focusing on getting ready for the spring game. The attitude within the team is a lot more serious and disciplined. The Coaches are increasing communication with the players and Riedel is no longer the OC. Keep the spirit up for these boys and support them as they bring back the spirit of what being a Raider is all about.

If Reidel is gone, then there is a ray of hope for GC. How such a foul mouthed, ill tempered clown could work with high school boys is beyond me.

Agree, but he’s gone and the boys are trying to heal from the abuse. The boys are optimistic that a great OC will be put in place. They are working extremely hard and the Belle Glade 7 on 7 team just had a scrimmage in Delray that was an enormous success for them. All the press that were there really were impressed with the group from the MUCK! All an all the community is supporting this team big and it’s starting to show. Our community has something to really look forward to this 2013 season. Go Raiders!

What coach Anthony did was wrong, but if these young men want to play college ball they better get some thick skin. At the next level you will get yelled at and called bad names, the difference is the coach may try to build you up after he breaks you down. Let's be real for a second coach Anthony didn't say anything those kids never heard before. It's sad that the game has changed so much. Raider kids are not tough anymore, they don't have that dog in them. I played at Glades Central, I got yelled at and called names. Over the last year I thought about returning home to help coach, but I am not going to let a sub par administrative staff and ill minded parents tell me how to coach the game. I have very low tolerance for stupidity.
Glades programs are FINSIHED!
