I heard they played this week and Newman won by a td.Anyone else hear that?

CN and JCS scrimmaged yesterday at CN. In a brief scrimmage, both teams scored twice with many interceptions by both sides.
Don't get too excited. JCS's QB was out of town and they used the scrimmage to try out 3 different players to see who will be their backup QB. None of the 3 JCS QB's in yesterday's scrimmage have taken more than a handful of snaps as a varsity QB....ever.

And the new QB has only taken a few snaps in a real game at the varsity level. The loss of Rothman and Powers will relegate JCS into obscurity. Oh yeah, they play in 1-B, were Pop Warner is king.

Not been too obscure so far this summer........whether 7 on 7 or at camp in pads, this JCS team has taken out teams from just bigger than them all the way to some of the biggest in the county. I guess that pop Warner experience has well prepared then for some of these paper tiger programs.
Only 3 yrs ago, Rothman was in the exact same position as this team.....very few varsity snaps under his belt....that year and the two following that one worked out pretty well for JCS

You guys thrive on this camp crap. While big scools go to evaluate talent and get a few reps in over the summer. You little dudes play it better than you do your regular season. I listen to a fool from King's talk about how they BEAT Seminole Ridge at UCF camp. I was there, and probably 8-10 starting players for Sem. Ridge did not play at camp. Don't you jamokes get it, is summer your season and flag football is your game. Whats JCS excuse for loosing to Card. Newman in 7 n 7, want to bet it's about somebody WHO DID NOT PLAY. Silly little boy's.

I laugh when someone talks about how Park Vista got it "handed" to them in 7-n-7.
Park Vista is Palm Beach County's premier RUN team. They go to 7-n-7 to improve their passing game and that's it. Fools, all of you. You no nothing about how Florida High School Football works and why teams do what they do . I do agree that small schools go all out to win because their small and you know what guys with small ones are like, gotta prove everything. -
sorry to burst your bubble but CH did not beat JCS at anything. Even though it certainly wasn't anything more then a practice, JCS out scored CN 2 to 1, and they did it without their QB. True there QB has only taken limited snaps at the varsity level Bostic will be one of the best QBs in Palm Beach County this year. JCS won the PBC Nike 7 on 7, got to the final 8 in both the Miami Dolphins 7 on 7 and the Nike South Florida 7 on 7 and won the 7 on 7 competition at the UCF team camp.
As far as real football, JCS was clearly a better football team then park Vista and as good or better then everyone at the UCF camp except maybe Armwood who the did out score when the scrimmaged.
The season will be here soon enough and we will see just how good they are once the games start. As far as their Pop Warner schedule it includes the KO classic against Pahokee, games against Glades day, Lake Worth, Jensen Beach, South Fork, 6A east Ridge in Orlando and a Colorado school with about 2500 students.
Monday was nothing more then a get together with CN to get ready for the season but facts are facts. JCS outscored CN 2-1. Sorry : )

Not only do I talk about it, I actually saw it. On the last day, after Park Vista had it handed to them repeatedly, it wasn't JCS hoopin and hollering on the scrimmage field trying to fire themselves up like a playoff game...it was a couple of those paper tiger pv'ers.

Here we go again, camp said a lot of stuff about this and that, all the thread was asking was if newman beat jc, not all the attacking, who did what a what camp and 7 on 7 and JC talking how good they are and how the small schools can't hang with big schools again. Stick to the thread! And know fool was saying anything about kings beating ridge. Someone from ridge said that kings beat them and with no big deal to it. A lot of you people just love to talk about anything you can negative on any thread even if it has nothing to do with the topic. Make your own thread forth bashing thread ok.

I can't understand why all these small schools keep ending their posts with something negative about "PV". Please direct me to any threads in the last 12 months where anyone from PV said "PV" was all this or all that. Not someone else saying "PV" is all this or all that but someone from "PV" saying it. On the field PV plays football and smack is talked by both teams, its football. But I have yet to see anyone from PV making any predictions or saying they beat this team or another at a 7 on 7 or any other tournament. Get over yourselves and leave PV out of your commentary. PV just wants to play football on Friday nights. The rest of it will work itself out! I agree with "Lets See", get back to the thread and be reasonable.

Well said man o man. One thing believe me it 's a certain group that is stiring up the pot on a lot of the threads, and i don't think it's all small schools, but true or not true at least schools like yours and kings, GD GC ridge pbg jc are getting attention so it gives them something to talk about, like kings beating ridge in the ucf camp they never said a word, someone else stirred that up,just like some of these other comments on who did what, if kings coach or your coach heard of any of his players doing any of this well lets just say they would not like the next practice if you know what i mean, but I agree with you Friday nights are almost here and then the humble ones will prevail. So try not to get caught up in these negative vibes you know what I mean. Good luck and play hard.

man o man, here's your direction.....scroll up 4 posts where pv was self annointed as the premiere run team in Palm Beach county. Before self annointing....be something more than a 6-5 team that got beat by Lake Worth.

Park Vista rushed for more yards than ANY other team in Palm Beach County last season and have the best O-line and running back in Palm Beach County for the upcoming season, like it or not. No self-anointing (proper spelling), just FACT. Argue if you will, just come with FACT'S, not rhetoric.

Although they were 6-5 last season, Park Vista did rush for more yards than any other team. Obviously, last year they underachieved. Park Vista has two D-1 offensive linemen and a D-1 running back that are a year older and if they can put it together, we'll will see if they can. I am not a Park Vista fan so don't come screaming at me. Fact's are Fact's and the stat's say they were. 561 is great at all levels of high school football, but, the fact is that small schools rule in titles, Fact. It goes both ways, and yes, it is a few that just like to stir up the pot and get someone to respond negatively and the whole thread gets taken over.
If Cardinal Newman beat JCS @ camp, 7on7, whatever, it wasn't a game that counts so NO BIG DEAL. 561 RELAX AND ENJOY, talk smack when it's team vs team, not just to talk smack and here yourself. How come you don't here Glades Central all over the threads talking about how good they are, or how the were the only team to beat Dwyer last year, and Dwyer talking back. WHY, because winner's have class and do their talking on the field of play.

How did "Did Newman beat JC in 7 on7? " turn into a PV thread? PV is coming off of a mediocre year and has much to prove. That being said on an anonymous site it would be so easy to start trouble for another team. Let's keep things fun and clean, last time I checked no games will be decided here.
