- Kevin Anderson
- JP Caruso
- Larry Brihm
- Marcus Davis
- Adam JohnsonThese are all guys who have made some noise from past years, so it doesn't consider any newcomers who've not started a lot of games in the county yet.

Adams and Anderson are good but their numbers are inflated due to always being behind and having to pass to catch up. Both teams do well in 7 on 7s!

You guys are saying Adams and Anderson are better but these dudes are 7 on 7 touch football allstars man. Put the pads on these dudes and you see them not only trailing in most games but also running for their lives out there. Put on the pads and we will see who the best QB's really are. 21 days and counting!

PV QB beat both of them. PV defense took int to house on Johnson.
Anderson is tough competitor. Johnson's numbers high because his team is usually playing from behind. -
Let's be real both Anderson and Johnson and the kid from village are the top qb's. Anderson plays with less talent than most and still out perform most qb's in the county and to compare him to martin or mcgrew is crazy. Johnson wasn't behind when he lit of royal palm and others but to say he is not one of the best because of a couple of games is crazy what about the total body of work again to compare him to mcgrew and martin is crazy. And the village kid I seen personally he is a stud and a better athlete than the other two mention. All three qb's have did it in pads and also the summer format to say wait till they get pads is crazy they wore them last year also the kid from gardens get into the conversation as well but mcgrew and martin are game managers who really is a running back or wide out heck they both run the ball more than they pass really both not good passer all plat

First of all you need a tic tac dude because the funk you talking is just plain silly. All this talk about what John I did to RPB early in the season is no measuring stick because after that luck he lost almost every game after that. RPB is going to murder John I this year trust me when I tell you this. Martin and McGrew are both just as good as any of these dudes on any day and dont hate on them because their teams have a good run game and the rest of these quarterbacks dont. The others you mentioned throw because they have too in order to try and win a game period not because they want too. So go sit down somewhere and get ready to watch some good football and get off these QB's nutz.

Good hs QB's win games, have very few interceptions and a completion percentage over 60% or so.

Ant Mcgrew is an athlete, not a down field passing QB. Also, numbers lie all the time in sports. The vast majority of his completions where 10 yds or less, and with the receiver YAC bumps his avg up. No way he belongs. Plus, you forgot Ant Washington

Mcgrew number are going to be alot better this year. Going out with a boom. He does not have to be # 1 but, atleast number 4.

I like Marcus Davis out of AH, look for big numbers from him this year. Heritage will be opening up the offense and using there threats at wide reciever. I am sure there will be someone that says he isn't playing QB in college. That isn't the question, and I think he will have top 5 numbers in the county easily.

These folks also gotta understand McGrew also had a good running game with a back that rushed for more than 1700 yards and 25TDs and still threw for over 1000. None of these other QBs had a RB that ran for more than 800 yards last year. To say MCgrew ain't one of the best is goofy.

Subjective as it may be, Anderson, Brihm, Washington, Caruso, Johnson, Martin, Davis... Would all make Mcgrew ride the pine. Most likely, Miester, Nitelo, Demeo too. I know you want to believe Ant Mcgrew is a QB, he's not, and #'s do lie all the time.

I guess the truth will never come out because last time I check player are judge by there preformance. So, if a person has good numbers and because your favorites numbers are not better. You feel he can not be good. Based off the proformance he has proved. Do not do a top 5 because you will not get the real answer to the question. Also, the team would have to be good to help the QB number so this is sometime you think of also. The receiver caught the ball not the QB. Mcgrew has to be in the top 5. Stop the hating because he goes to Royal Palm Beach High.

Figures don't lie but liars sure figure. Stats above do not take in account myriad things, type of offense run, level of competition and quality of the rest of the team. One guy on the list didn't throw half as many passes as the other two. Season hasn't even started, the best QB could be someone who is waiting to make their first varsity start.

I agree that the numbers don't lie in showing who has been the most productive high school QB. And I agree that it involves a whole lot of things, many of which are outside the control of the QB. Given all of that, the most productive of the qbs has been Brihm and McGrew.
On the other hand, when you talk about which kids will go on to the next level as a QB, it does become all about the individual. The kid that projects at the next level the best is Anderson. He has the size and evaluations that make recruiters think he can be effective in college. That's why he has mulitple offers and has committed to a D1 level school.
The others do not fit the mold. The Johnson kid doesn't seem to be on many radar screens with college ball. However unfair, his size will make the jump to the next level pretty unlikely. I think McGrew will be in the same boat. Brihm may be, too. I think he might be similar to Davis at AHS. Their athleticism will get them offers to play in college, but the best offers for Brihm will not be at the QB spot.
Just my thoughts on a useless but interesting debate.

They run the veer up there, which does not give him much to show his skills, but he is on the college recruiting radar and has interest from several colleges already. -
Ask anyone who attended last nights game P.b.c vs VA. Tigers. Larry Brihm is by far the best QB in the county. Hands down. Don't take my word for it ask every Defensive coordinator that has played against him!

everywhere the DC has been his defense gives up that many yards except for when he was at GC. The kid is a good athlete and maybe the best but central defense horrible.

If you're talking numbers J.P. Caruso is easily among the top QB's in this conversation. Talking numbers here:
J.P. Caruso: Team Record (9-1-3) playoffs
Passing- 87/145 60% comp. 1236 yards 14 TDs and 4 INT
Rushing- 44 attempts 95 yards 3TDs
(Note- this was also on a Rush first offense last year that put up 3500+ yards on the ground)Soph-o-more season...enough said

Well George mastics from cardinal Newman is the only qb from palm beach county that made to the second round of the dolphins 7 on 7 and went on to place either third or fourth in overall and has Travis Rudolph and devonte Brown as weapons. Don't sleep on him, the qb he backed up went on to college of Charleston.

Chris mutz, Jupiter High, Class of 2013. Had our eyes on him the whole time, even when Tyler was there. Mutz will shine when he starts against Dwyer. When he was in against JIL, he was unstoppable. Chris, you're a great player and hopefully a future Gator. GO MUTZ GO

Marcus Davis is by far one of the best QB's in the county, regardless of the position he'll play in college, as a high school QB he has proven him self since his freshman year at Boynton. He makes good decisions, he is quick on his feet and he had an ARM.

Larry Brihm at Village is like RGIII or Russell Wilson. Some D1 school would be smart to grab him. Most of the other top PBC QB's are okay (think Jay Cutler, Kevin Kolb, Blaine Gabbert). There aren't any Jacoby Brisset's out there this year, other than Larry.
Also, go check out that Estime kid who plays for Village. Talk about a Deion/Ed Reed/Desmond Howard type of big time play maker. Wow. He's better than his brother at ATL.

Jupiter QB is not that good. I just watched him at the Boca game and he was off target and ran scared. He does not finish runs strong. Too many picks.

Mastics is still the best, he has the most TD's and no picks, that says something that i think you all are missing. And his offense has put up atlest 37 each game this season accept against glades day which they won 14 - 7 and was the first game of the season being the kickoff classic.

Jupiter’s starting QB DeMeo doesn’t get enough credit. Kids a good athlete but doesn’t have much of a team to back him up. Jup has some good players sadly not too many that utilize. Jupiter’s offensive line doesn’t get the job done in many cases and the QB has no time. Other than Johnson, the Oline needs work. DeMeo has talent, just can’t show it a lot. Strong arm and can run the ball. Dwyer's backup, Nittolo, has potential. He's got just as much to offer as Meister but gets nervous and seems jittery in the pocket. His dad needs to get off his tail, but thats sports these days.

About 98% wont even get a scholorship to play college football as a quarterback. All of the quarterbacks coming out this year are W-A-Y T-O-O S-M-A-L-L! Period,end of story, so please stop crap talking about your little hopefulls like they are the next college super stars - it aint gonna happen. Sorry Mom & Dad.

You are absolutly correct there is not a QB in the bunch that can make it at any level, Not only too small but the ones that are have no qb skills at all. Not a single QB in the county is going anywhere to play football.

6'2" 210 for a freshman is not to small for college shoot drew under 6' rgthree 6'2" 218 pro qb. Who ever you are talking about that height and weight is a great size for college and depends on his arm strength running and reading defenses. The key is throwing with acuuracy and ablt to move the chains.

While Brissett was special, Craig Erickson at Newman was the best. Curtis Holey at Glades Central was also better in high school. Anquan was a heck of a high school QB as well. One thing for sure, 561 has produced some elite guys.

Brissett was a good high school QB/Athlete but not great. He is probably going to leave UF at end of year with hopes of getting playing time at USF or West Va. . USF would be his best shot.
