Dwyer coaches did a great job of getting those ball players off the field, after the rediculous calls. It was not after calling "A" bad play. It WAS 3!!!!!!!!
Focus on getting proper refs for the game and give the kid a break. Even with his gesture, they showed great restraint after that game.
i concur, the Dwyer coaches did their usual routine of directing the students to behave like the gentlemen that they are. The gesture that was made was not tolerated by FHSAA which is understandable, but a two game suspension...I have seen adults at little league games show less restraint. Why not the outcry from FHSAA about how the team was not treated fairly...they (FHSAA) should have their priorities better directed. The Ohio high school athletic association should have come out about the inconsistencies in the officiating, on paper; as the lip service that was given just after the fiasco was useless.
