  yeah i was very surprised that none of the papers had much coverage. There was even a TV news story on it but then i looked this morning and pretty much there was nothing. Very disappointing....

  amen! the sun sentinel covered the story and wrote a nice piece but not our hometown palm beach post. very disappointing.

  As an avid football dad, I watched my son play and read all the detailed news on every game..and it goes on practically year round, When he joined PBC volleyball, I laughed and thought it's be at least fun to watch, if not athletic as football. Well, I was proven wrong and enjoyed the last two years immensely. And not just watching him but very, very athletic players playing at a level and speed of game I never dreamed of at all the schools. Football coaches/players could learn from this game, timing, jumping, split second teamwork, lateral footwork. I will miss it (and will still attend anyway!) but what I really miss is anything resembling COVERAGE! I cannot believe how this sport is not played by more schools and not covered by this paper even 10% of football coverage. Jason and others, you really need to attend these more than once. I applaud players, parents and Wellington for a great District matchup. To see players interacting with coaches on such a positive level is a great change of pace. Good luck

  Come see two state ranked teams play in the regional finals tonight at 7 PM at Seminole Ridge HS. The winner will represent PBC at the state tournament this Friday at Boca St. Andrews. Come out tonight to route on two great teams! It's a shame that there was nothing in the post about these fabulous teams

  Congratulations to both Wellington and Seminole Ridge for an excellent game last night! Two awesome groups of players fought it out till the end. Now lets support the Hawks as they move on to states this Friday!
