Spanish River is struggling out the gate against small schools and terrible teams. You guys better try to pad your stats NOW against this soft schedule before you get to some real competition. I see some blowouts on the horizon for you.
who is the D1 prospect at Guard for Spanish River??? the only player I have seen that may be good enough for D1 is Kupferberg
i was told to watch the d1 point gaurd for spanish river and im glad i did. the young man is a true point gaurd, sees the floor well, passes hard, shoots well. keep up the good work young man.
COM-ON-MAN!!!!!!!
check his stats.
COM-ON-MAN!!!!!!!!
if you had a kid who is 6'6" 240lb.s with great feet catching your passes.
River is suffering because of injured players. One is out and one is not 100%. Coach hasn't found away to use his bench.
Dante scholl is a D1 shooting guard. not a point guard.
Evan is out, and Dante is not 100% they both have potential to play college ball
dante's a great combo gaurd, they say evan and dante play very well together.
next year. were goin off
We will have a big year next year if everyone is healthy!! Dante is a solid HS basketball player, but to label him as a D1 shooting guard is a little premature, and probably setting the bar a little high for him. He has to get better with the ball, stronger and much more consistent to play D1 bball. We lost to a weak West Boca team a couple of weeks ago that has no big man, so we cant say we lost because Evan wasnt there. We lost to them and Lockhart(their best scorer) wasnt there, Anderson who is supposed to be their best player, played horrible and only scored 5 or 6 points. My point is when you are qualifying a player as a D1 player there are pther qualities that you must have, this is an example of when a Player like Dante must takeover a game and will his team to win! He has to learn how to put his team on his back and win! I think he has very good skills, and with Evan back next year who I do think is a solid D1 player we should have a great team!! Go River!!
what more can dante scholl do, d1 he can be, this young man plays 32 min a game, 9 months ago he had acl surgery, heres a list of gaurds that could not stop dante bring ball down court, sirkin regerson sparkman, hall dixson anderson, scott w, cobb, so you must not go to river games. stronger? what young man plays 32 min per game, comming off acl injury? carry team on his back? come on dude. he does every thing but assit himself, stats will be out tommorow that will say enough.
OK..........DAD STOP.............................make me sick..
excuse me! not dad, just seen this young man play and here about him. please dont disrespect.
Listen, I like the kid and his game, but whether you are a dad, cousin, mother or brother I am stating what he needs to develop to play at a D1 level. There was no bashing going on towards the kid. But there are alot of kids that play the entire game, and I was at Leonard and Hall and Sparkman press the entire game so how did he beat them with the ball against Leonard. Sirkin from West Boca dominated the game and in the second half he switched onto Dante and shut him down. Anderson was weak on him but Dante wasnt even bringing the ball up court. Didnt see the Wellington Game, but I would be suprised that Scotty was covering him, he usually covers the PG and he isnt a great defender either.
You are defending the kid, when I am not picking on him, just opining on what he needs to develop to play at the next level, when you start calling out other kids names "that cant stop him" and clearly not the case, I wonder if you are watching the games or just trying to hype the player. He is a solid player and the mistake so many people make is over hyping the kid and when a college comes and expects to see a monster they are disappointed and forget about the kid.
Seems you both lost your objectivity in your posts. Became more like a personal vendetta..... Everyone has an opinion and for some ungodly reason think theirs is the only accurate opinion, ultimately only those that matter will count. Please be aware that kids also post on this site so try to keep the venom at minimum. Try to remember their is no "I" in team. What college wants a player that thinks "he" is the team? Therein lies the danger of your critiscism.
How does one "will" their team to win? What impact would the ability of your teammates, and the direction of your coach have on "willing" them to win? I am sure it would help all players in all sports to know exactly what that means.
